NFL: Week 17 Picks
We have come to the last week of the season. The final couple playoff spots will be decided this week and the Wild Card Round will begin next Saturday (Jan. 5th). Due to some teams having their playoff positions already locked up, we may see some coaches resting some starters. This potentially will make it more difficult to predict outcomes. However, there are still some very crucial match-ups this week with huge implications.
Last week was a so-so 11/16 for That's Sports. The Rams surprisingly upset the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay. The Ravens took care of the Giants on Sunday night, while the Seahawks held serve on their home field against the favoured 49ers on Monday night.
Without further ado, here are That's Sports' NFL Week 17 Picks...
Atlanta Falcons over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Buffalo Bills over New York Jets
Baltimore Ravens* over Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh Steelers over Cleveland Browns
Chicago Bears* over Detroit Lions
Tennessee Titans over Jacksonville Jaguars
New York Giants over Philadelphia Eagles
New Orleans Saints over Carolina Panthers
Houston Texans* over Indianapolis Colts
Green Bay Packers* over Minnesota Vikings
Seattle Seahawks over St. Louis Rams
New England Patriots over Miami Dolphins
Denver Broncos over Kansas City Chiefs
Oakland Raiders* over San Diego Chargers
San Francisco 49ers over Arizona Cardinals
Washington Redskins over Dallas Cowboys
- * indicates road team (5/16 this week)
- 9/11 correct road picks last week
- ________ indicates bold pick (under the circumstances)
Although some teams have division titles already won, many teams (i.e. Houston, Denver, New England, Green Bay) are still playing for a bye for the Wild Card Round. In the NFC, the Falcons have locked up home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but the AFC home field advantage still depends on the outcomes of the Texans, Broncos, and Patriots games.

The NFC East has a massive game this week with the Cowboys and Redskins playing for the title in Washington. If the Redskins can beat the Cowboys it will be their first NFC East title since 1999.
The Redskins are riding a 6 game winning streak and will push it to 7 with a big win on Sunday night to claim the NFC East title.
The other big story this week is Adrian Peterson's continuing quest of eclipsing Eric Dickerson's rushing record. He only ran 86 yards last week against the Texans, so he needs 102 yards for a 2000 yard season and 208 yards for the single season rushing record. He will have to do this against the Green Bay Packers in Minnesota. Run Adrian Run!
This week should be a great finale to the season! Enjoy the games folks!
